Kwesi Ahoomey-Zunu is a Togolese politician who has been Prime Minister of Togo since July 2012. Previously he was Minister of Trade from March 2011 to July 2012.

Political career

Ahoomey-Zunu served as Minister of Territorial Administration and Secretary-General of the Presidency before being appointed as Minister of Trade and the Promotion of the Private Sector in March 2011. He remained in the latter post for over a year; he was then appointed as Prime Minister on 19 July 2012 following the resignation of Prime Minister Gilbert Houngbo.[1] He took office on 23 July 2012.[2]
